Lying In The Gutters – April Fool’s Day 2013

What a foolish day… naturally Bleeding Cool ran a few. But we also ran a few that could have been… but weren’t. We’ll label them all at Noon PT, 3pm ET, 8pm BST.

But we also liked these April Fools:

  • A new Prometheus Blu-ray will tease “part robot, part god” xenomorphs for the sequel.
  • The Golden Age forgotten Zeus Comics. (above)
  • Channing Tatum has been cast as He-Man, reuniting him with his GI Joe – Retaliation director Jon Chu.
  • Castle star Stana Katic will appear in SHIELD as Agent Con, a love interest for Coulson.
  • Various Harry Potter alumni have been cast in the BBC’s TV version of JK Rowling’s The Casual Vacancy.
  • Disney have bought Middle Earth Enterprises, including the rights to The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies… meanwhile, Peter Jackson is to start wearing glasses again.
  • The first image of Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Sin City 2. Or maybe just a completely unrelated image, eh?
  • Christopher Nolan confirms a Nightwing movie. There’s a photoshop-job poster, too.
  • Warwick Davis is replacing Peter Dinklage in Game of Thrones so that the producers can take Tyron Lannister “in a new direction.”

And I got totally fooled by Ty Templeton.
