David Tennant, Billie Piper And John Hurt Confirmed For Doctor Who 50th - UPDATED

davd tennant billie piper TARDISBleeding Cool has been telling you, with the utmost confidence, that David Tennant is involved with the 50th anniversary special edition of Doctor Who.

Now, Doctor Who Magazine may be on the verge of officially announcing his role in the special, as well as that of his sometime TARDIS companion, Billie Piper.

According to Blogtor Whotwo days ahead of April Fool’s day, so take a breath – the casting will be confirmed by the magazine this week, alongside the involvement of John Hurt.

At least one subscriber is saying that they have somehow received their copy of Doctor Who Magazine early. If this is indeed the case, I expect we’ll see more confirmation – or denial – imminently.

UPDATE: We’ve now had it verified by multiple friends, that the story is in fact in the magazine. We’re not just taking one blog’s word for this any longer, it’s an official announcement.

SECOND UPDATE: We don’t want to spoil the whole article, but here’s a bit of the key page, some proof for you.
