Trailer: Harold Lloyd’s Classic Clock-Hanging Silent Comedy, Safety Last

Ahead of Criterion’s DVD and Blu-ray release of the much love Harold Lloyd silent comedy Safety Last this summer, their parent company, Janus Films, are taking the picture on tour.

Here’s a new trailer to promote the reissue.

Definitely worth a visit to see this on the big screen, I think. Hopefully somebody will get the restoration up in UK cinemas too. Comedy works brilliantly in crowds, and it’ll do my heart good* to have a chuckle at this with a bunch of like-minded folk.
