New Godzilla Set Photos Show Aaron Taylor-Johnson And A Big Ol’ Missile

No film currently in production has me as jazzed as Gareth Edward‘s Godzilla. As a life long Godzilla fan, I believe the film is in some pretty capable hands in terms of it’s cast, writers and director.

So colour me excited that the film has finally gone into production.  A few days ago, we got a video from the director himself, as well as pictures of wreckage. Today we get a few shots from Just Jared giving us our first look of Aaron Taylor-Johnson in costume. You may notice he is standing around a big missile looking device surrounded by soldiers and workers.

However, I am going to take a guess here and say that they aren’t prepping it in defense of any colossal lizards.  Unless missiles are now readied for battle, outdoors, by common workers and not on any sort of launching device. Why is it outside in a seemingly quite and rural area? No idea.

More and more set photos will no doubt keep popping up as production goes on, however I suspect those who didn’t see last years Comic Con footage may be waiting a long time until the see mister Gojira.
