Another press release;

Today, in wintery Rochester, Minnesota during the FABLES Panel at the very aptly named FABLESCON, it was announced that Vertigo will publish THE FABLES COMPANION.

THE FABLES COMPANION will join the recently announced FABLES ENCYCLOPEDIA, as a Deluxe Edition hardcover, written by noted pop culture scholar Jess Nevins. Featuring the various ruminations, examinations, interviews and essays about all things FABLES, THE FABLES COMPANION will also include an introduction by Bill Willingham, the creator and writer of the beloved New York Times bestselling FABLES comic book series.

Wrapped in a, yet to be revealed, jacket by ongoing series cover artist Joao Ruas, THE FABLES COMPANION arrives in 2014.
