Classic Ducktales Video Game Gets HD Do-Over With Voice Acting From The Cartoon’s Cast

Widely regarded to be a classic of the 2D platformer genre, and cherished as one of the best film or TV tie-in videogames, Capcom’s Ducktales is set for re-release this summer as a HD, newly programmed remake. Here’s the trailer, courtesy of C&VG.

I know an awful lot of people will be dripping with nostalgia right now. Handkerchief?

According to Capcom’s Christian Svensson, all of the original cartoon’s voice talent are going to be contributing. As I recall, there was no voice work in the original game, so this is a nice step towards bridging the game and toon.

The game will be available for download from the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and the Wii U eShop this summer.
