Under The Dome Set Video – Cows Chopped In Half, Planes Up In Flames

Dean Norris has Vined six seconds worth of footage from the set of Under the Dome, the summer miniseries based on Stephen King’s novel. Six seconds is not long, but it’s obviously long enough for a burning plane, a bisected cow and a handful of cameo appearances.

Yep, they do half-cows on network TV now, you know. I guess Damien Hurst took the curse off it.

Norris is playing Big Jim in the minseries, the man who takes control of the sealed off town of Chester’s Mill when the unexplained forcefield appears. Big Jim’s not such a nice guy, but it’s a cracking part and well cast.

Under the Dome will kick off on CBS come June 24th with a pilot written by Brian K. Vaughan and directed by Niels Arden Oplev.
