DC Comics Cancels Insurgent Three Issues In

Insurgent-#3-CoverIt was announced in a blaze of publicity. A new creator owned series, Insurgent, one of a series of Wildstorm carry-overs from before the DC reorganisation of 2010. Written by F.J. DeSanto and Todd Farmer, and drawn by Federico Dallocchio.

Along with The Whistling Skull and Lot 13, Insurgent was a mini-series with political action adventure ambition, and issue 1 was published in January.

However, three issues in, DC Comics have decided enough is enough and have cancelled the remaining three issues of the mini-series. They have also made all published issues returnable for retailers.
