A Two Minute Heist – James McAvoy Wants To Talk To You In This Clip From Danny Boyle’s Trance

This first clip from Danny Boyle’s Trance spills almost all of the film’s heist sequence. We don’t quite get to the punchline, though… even if punch isn’t quite the right word.

Most of those heist mechanics seem pretty familiar – the boxing in of a vehicle, the pretending to be one of the victims, the inside man – but what happens next is nothing of the sort.

This isn’t a film about heisting a painting from an auction, it’s more about heisting a lost memory from a series of jumbled up memories and fantasies. If you missed them, you might want to check out the “green band” or “red band” trailers for a good look at the set up.
