Paramount have announced that Star Trek Into Darkness will now be released in the UK on Thursday May 9th. This is 6 days ahead of the US IMAX release and 8 days ahead of the general US release.
It could mean some Stateside spoilerphobes have to put down their Twitters and Facebooks for quite a stretch. I know that there’s a lot of people who’d want to open this particular mystery box for themselves.
Or maybe the US release date will move too. Not impossible.
So that’s a minor news story, really but don’t worry – we’ll have confirmation that Khan is the villain soon enough.
