Full Trailer For M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth

after earth poster

In the current issue of Bleeding Cool Magazine – in your local comic book store now, so there’s not much excuse – I compare the premise of M. Night Shyamalan’s After Earth to Jack Kirby’s Kamandi comics.

And now, as if to spite me, this new trailer plays to rather different aspects of the film’s storyline.

Okay, there’s still some Kamandi in there. Kamandi and Dad, perhaps.

Seems like there’s scope for some head-on fun with ideas about evolution vs. invention here, and how mankind has survived through application of technology. And then there’s some Will Smith being shouty stuff too. Something for everyone?
