Harrison Ford Signs On For… Anchorman 2? Okay. Sounds Good

MORNING GLORYHarrison Ford is to play his second TV news broadcaster in just three years. Can’t say I blame him, what with all the sitting down and lack-of-snakes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ford is now on board to play a “legendary newscaster ala Tom Brokaw” in Anchorman 2. Ford previously played an anchor in Morning Glory, and I’m curious if that worked for or against his casting here.

If it’s for, I wonder if we’ll also see Jack Nicholson or William Hurt roll up?

We’re far from the end of Anchorman 2 casting news. Adam McKay is promising to stuff this thing to the gills with glorious day-players.
