Warner Bros. will be keeping their Hobbit movies an annual thing, with Deadline reporting that the studio are pushing back There and Back Again from July of next year until December.

This means one Hobbit movie each December, last year, this year and next. Worked for The Rings.

There and Back Again was scheduled for July 18th, opposite X-Men: Days of Future Past. Now it will land on December 17th, where there’s – so far – nothing else in place.

Our first look at footage from this year’s Desolation of Smaug is just over three weeks away when the trailer will premiere online only to those who bought the Unexpected Journey Blu-ray.
