Primeval Cancelled Again – New World Is Old News

The Canadian co-producers of Primeval: The New World have pulled the plug. According to The Hollywood Reporter it’s simply because the show failed to pull in the ratings. I have to say that the show made no real impact on me, and if I think Primeval, I conjure up images of the ‘original’ series.

All I really know about the new run is that it sometimes got a bit sweary. How rude.

Fans will have to cross their fingers that the in-development film makes it all the way to the screen. Warner Bros. are apparently wanting a full reboot so there’s no real worry about The New World sucking their movie plans down the plughole. The box office of all the other upcoming dinosaur pictures is far more likely to have an impact.
