James McAvoy, Andrea Riseborough And Co. In First Clip From Welcome To The Punch

This clip from Eran Creevy‘s London cop thriller Welcome to the Punch showcases some of the extraordinary cast and hints – just a little – at the stylised cinematography.

Welcome to the Punch is quite the genre piece. I think you can pick that up from this clip. It’s not a film that wants to reinvent the wheel, just to give it another spin.

You can check Punch out for yourself come March 15th, at least here in the UK. A US release is forthcoming, thanks to IFC, but I don’t believe there’s a particular date chalked off just yet.

As well as this, James McAvoy has Filth and Trance lined up for the next few months too. Good – we had been missing him.
