Here Comes The Grimm Comic, In May

David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf are co-creators of the TV show Grimm. And now they’ve provided the story for the new Dynamite comic spinoff of the TV show, written by Marc Gaffen and Kyle McVey.

Set in the world of the acclaimed NBC series, Grimm, Homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt of the Portland Police Bureau learns he is descended from a line of guardians known as Grimms, charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures called “Wesen.” Beginning this issue, Kelly (Nick’s mom) begins her quest to destroy the Coins of Zakynthos.

I also notice that, totally be coincidence, Zenescope are launching four new Grimm Fairy Tales series for May, as well as a new Grimm Fairy Tales trade. That’s the kind of trick that Dynamite usually pulls…
