New Clip From Monsters University, Complete With Some Nice Nods To The Original Film

John Goodman appeared on Jimmy Fallon‘s show last night and they used this as an excuse to screen a clip from Monsters University.

Why the early publicity for a film not out until June? Maybe it has a lot to do with the release of Monsters Inc. in a collectors edition Blu-ray next Tuesday.

And no, I’m not complaining. Far from it.

There’s at least a couple of good nods to the original Inc. in the clip, which kicks off just after the two minute mark in this video.

If you paid attention to the posters you may have spotted a couple of easter eggs. There’s the Right Stuff walk, for example, and a motivational poster that I’m pretty sure belongs to Randall.

Is this our first clue that Mike and Randall are roommates? That’d be my hunch.
