Elegant Poster For Pixar’s The Blue Umbrella

Playing with Monsters University this summer will be the new Pixar short, The Blue Umbrella. We’ve previously seen a couple of stills and a clip, all of which showed off the film’s mix of near photo-realistic settings and super cartoony facial animation.

This poster, courtesy of Vulture, goes to neither of those stylistic places but tells us a little something about the film’s love story in an elegant, lightly nostalgic fashion.

Here’s hoping the film is this blend of sweetness and efficiency – that should see its six or seven minutes packing in the good stuff.
