Hulk’s Post-Avengers Fortunes – Monday Trending Topics

Early last year, things seemed a little grim for Hulk fans. Kevin Feige was telling the media that Marvel was unlikely to take a chance on another solo Hulk film, and on the comic side, the 50th anniversary of one of Marvel’s cornerstone characters passed by unnoticed.

What a difference a year makes. Right after his star turn in the Avengers, a new solo Hulk film became not only possible but likely, with Marvel to “spin him off to a stand-alone program next year,” supported by a big budget franchise movie in 2015.
