Guardians Of The Galaxy Gets Chris Pratt For Star Lord

According to Deadline, Parks and Recreation‘s Chris Pratt has been cast in the lead role of Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

Pratt comes fresh from Movie 43, if you could call it fresh, and is also currently in cinemas with Zero Dark Thirty where he plays a Navy SEAL in the final raid sequences. If that’s not a diverse resume I don’t know what is.

It’s going to be a combination of not looking ridiculous in action but also packing proper comedy chops that will be put to the test in Guardians. Pratt seems like a pretty good pick to me.
