Video: Adam Buxton's Full And Properly Funny Pilot For Meebox

Some of us saw this late one Sunday night, five or so years ago. More will have seen clips on YouTube. Today, though, Adam Buxton released the whole thing via his own channel.

Adam Buxton, for those who have been missing out, is one half of Adam and Joe, sometime TV makers and radio broadcasters. The Joe is Joe Cornish, writer-director of Attack the Block.

You may also recognise Buxton from his comical scenes of head injury in Stardust, Hot Fuzz and Son of Rambow.

The pilot for Meebox was directed by Buxton and Dougal Wilson and written by Buxton. Buxton also has more roles in it that anybody else. It’s basically Buxton Buxton Buxton. His dad’s in it too, so that’s one more. Make it Buxton Buxton Buxton Buxton.

But who doesn’t like Buxton? Well, apparently somebody at the BBC, because this never went to series. Wrong.
