Fun With Guns – First Clip From Austenland, From Napoleon Dynamite’s Jerusha Hess

Adina Miller writes for Bleeding Cool.

Adapted from Shannon Hale‘s novel, this is the first movie directed by Jerusha Hess, who co-wrote Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre and Gentleman Broncos alongside her husband Jared. Keri Russell has the lead role, for the first time in a few years now.

Though I haven’t read Hale’s book, I’m a fan of Jane Austen and I did see and rather enjoy Napoleon Dynamite. Let’s hope this clip indicates how the rest of the movie shapes up:

Austenland premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Release details are still forthcoming.
