Possible New Wonder Woman Has Experience At Torchwood, As A Misfit And Of Being Human

Blowing the lid off of some confidentiality agreement or another, STV are reporting that scots actress Amy Manson has “already made it through two auditions” for the upcoming Wonder Woman TV pilot, Amazon.

Manson has done a good amount of British tele, and much of it is genre stuff – she was Alice Guppy in Torchwood, Leah in Misfits and Daisy in Being Human – though, to be honest, I can remember her most clearly from Desperate Romantics.

The Amazon pilot hasn’t been given the green light for production as yet, with the CW honchos saying that the go ahead is dependent on casting.

Manson’s obviously doing pretty well with the network. Hopefully she, or another young hopeful, will prove sufficiently talented at – as we learned will be essential – falling in love with ice cream at first taste.

Sounds like quite an easy job when I put it like that. If it wasn’t for the costume I might have wanted to go up for it myself.
