Trailer: Combustible, By Akira’s Katsuhiro Otomo

Combustible is only a short, but it’s the first film from Akira‘s Katsuhiro Otomo in some time and therefore worth our interest. It’s based upon a manga he published in ’94, telling the story of Edo-era firefighters.

This trailer has been around since before Christmas by ANN only pointed me towards it yesterday. There’s apparently a very good chance the film will feature in tomorrow’s Oscar nominations.
