man of steelI've had this theory for awhile that most of the Man of Steel images we've been shown so far — at least the ones featuring Superman himself — have been based around classic Superman imagery. It's hard to say for sure about this latest Man of Steel pic without a little more context, but you could make a case for the classic cover of Superman #14, at least with those tanks in the background.
