The world found out about the end of Amazing Spider-Man with Amazing Spider-Man 700 today, an event that seemed undiminished by the leaked spoilers of the past few weeks.  The comic book industry gets better and better at making mainstream news, year by year, and that's good.

Meanwhile… somewhere in New York, Steve Ditko is probably quietly going about his business, still making comics and writing about them, and likely politely turning down several more press requests for interviews than usual this week.  That's good, too.
