A Good Look At Sam Raimi’s Wicked Witch Of Oz – But Who Is She?

Disney have released a new, rather green and black poster for Oz the Great and Powerful. It’s essentially a full-body shot of the Wicked Witch. But who is she? I’ll get into that potentially spoiler-ific question below the image.

I’ve seen numerous reports online today saying that this is an image of Rachel Weisz.

I don’t agree. I think it’s Mila Kunis. Maybe they’re playing games with us in this illustration, but all other evidence points to Kunis’ character being the one who turns green in the film. The trailer seems to support this conclusion so I don’t think this is too big od a secret.

And while this poster is painted and therefore doesn’t have to reflect anybody’s face too closely at all, I think it looks more like Kunis than Weisz in any case.

Either way, I’m looking forward to Oz a great deal. Roll on March 8th.
