Trailer For Willow Blu-Ray Looks Handsome

Lucasfilm’s swords and sorcery story Willow is to be released as a Blu-ray-and-DVD combo pack in the US next March 12th. To promote it, here’s the new, handsome looking trailer. Adrian Biddle‘s cinematography looks really rather good.

The film is famous for the first use of video-morphing but I think they were right to not put it in the trailer. Unlike a lot of ILM’s accomplishments, this one – pioneering as it was – hasn’t stood the test of time perfectly. Some of the sequence is great, some of it is much less than that. Also, it’s a bit of a surprise when it happens, so there’s that too.
