As Expected – Hugh Jackman In X-Men: Days Of Future Past Too

As I’ve been wibbling on about for months, pretty much the entire key cast of Bryan Singer‘s original X-Men movies are going to appear in the next one, Days of Future Past.

Two days ago Singer himself confirmed that Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart were set to reprise their roles as Magneto and Charles Xavier. Now The Hollywood Reporter say Hugh Jackman is “in talks” to return too.

Essentially, they’re negotiating the terms of his return. Wolverine has a pretty key role to play in the film, as in the original comic. Well, unless Singer and Kinberg have been changing things up a lot of late. But I don’t think they’d cut down on the Logan action any more than they’d absolutely need to.

Jackman will first been seen reprising the role in next summer’s The Wolverine and all signs point to that one being quite the jaw-dropper.

There’s not been a single X-Men movie without him so far, and that’s the way I like it.
