X-Men Comeback For Ian McKellen And Patrick Stewart Confirmed

Bryan Singer has dropped the bomb on his Twitter feed tonight.

We’ve known for a while, and I’ve been regularly indicating, that the plans for X-Men: Days of Future Past involve bringing back the “classic” or original X-cast for the sequences set in the ‘future timeline.’

We understand that the main thrust of the story is set in the ‘past’ and features the First Class cast. We don’t know if Stewart will go eye to eye with James McAvoy or McKellen with Michael Fassbender, but the prospect is exciting.

Next, Mr. Singer, if you wouldn’t mind confirming the sentinels…
