Elysium Image: Today’s A-List Movie Star In A Sci-Fi Exoskeleton Is Matt Damon

Neill Blomkamp‘s Elysium has been knocked back from it’s original March release date into August, the better to strip us from our summer dollars. As such, it might yet be a little while until we get a trailer and the world at large can see some of the movie in motion, so for now, we’ll have to make do with another still image. That’s it above and, yes, it is very similar to the other official picture.

I saw the Comic-Con reel over the summer and it was truly astonishing stuff, far exceeding my expectations in both ambition and execution. As part of those scenes we got to see how Matt Damon‘s character gets his exoskeleton fitted, and it was not comfortable or pretty.
