New Hobbit TV Spot And Confirmation Of 48fps Screenings In The UK

Patrick Dane writes for Bleeding Cool

Earlier today we showed you the first list of cinemas where you could watch The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey in HFR3D. We are still waiting over here in the UK with baited breath, but we now have some confirmation that it is actually happening via this new TV spot.

Right now, we don't actually know where we can end up seeing a HD3D presentation* of the film but it is nice to know it is happening. There were a few fears as tickets had gone on sale at Odeon and Cineworld with no mention of the format, but there's still nothing from Vue yet, so could that be the final resting place? Or will dates be added to Odeon and Cineworld's slates? I am sure the picture will become a little clearer in the next few days.

*Which is weird, as we are getting it a day earlier than the US
