Cobie Smulders To Return As Maria Hill In Captain America 2

Here's a quick follow-up to our earlier story, which announced that Frank Grillo has been cast as Crossbones for Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier. The source article over at Variety also revealed that Cobie Smulders will return to reprise her role as S.H.I.E.L.D agent Maria Hill.

The How I Met Your Mother star also appeared in the same role for The Avengers, so hopefully in a couple of years we'll be writing a similar story about her return for The Avengers 2.

We should have reported this earlier, but unfortunately Bleeding Cool work experience boy Brendon Connelly was assigned to write the news story and he hasn't quite got the hang of this "reading" lark yet. We've reassigned him to tea-making and envelope-stuffing duties now. Apologies for the dip in quality.
