What Could CLiNT Look Like In A Few Months Time?

When CLiNT Magazine relaunched earlier this year, the title changed to Mark Millar's CLiNT. But with Secret Service and Hit Girl approaching the end of their serialisation in CLiNT  – what's next?

Nemesis 2 from Millar and McNiven was delayed from September to January, but now it's been bumped to at least February, Jupiter's Children has three pages drawn, there's no sign of the next chapter of American Jesus, it seems as if there might be quite the gap. If Nemesis 2 isn't solicited by Marvel for February, could Mark Millar's CLiNT be Millarless soon, at least as far as strips go? Will we get a Mark Millar Presents styled magazine instead with a series of Image titles serialised such as America's Got Powers, more Graveyard Of The Empires and possibly Luthor Strode filling the book? Maybe we could see other Millar comics such as Unfunnies, War Heroes, Saviour, Shadowmen, Her Parents, Insiders or Mother's Day to fill the gap? There was that stunning 4/11 strip Tit-For-Tat he did with Frank Quitely that he could probably extract from Marvel. Hell, what about Wanted?

Or could Mark turn to those one off strips for the Space Oddities feature he said he'd buy for the magazine a couple of years ago, but whose creators are none the wiser.? The Death Note bought-in strip is still running, could there be more in the offering, a championing of new talent?

Mark Millar did not reply to e-mails earlier in the week. I asked editor Andrew James of Titan Magazines about possible plans, but he simply told me "Sorry Rich, nothing to announce now."

Not now… but when? Kapow 3? If there is one…

The new issue should be out soonish at least…
