NYCC: The Marvel Store

NYCC: The Marvel Store

This is a bit of a novelty for Marvel Comics. Like DC Comics, their appearances at comic conventions such as San Diego or New York, is a promotional one. Thier booths are there to entertain, to provide sampling, to promote upcoming work and creators.

Not this year. This year Marvel are joining the likes of Avatar, Boom, Image and basically everyone else, and taking the opportunity to sell stuff as well, with a series of NYCC exclusive items.

$10 NYCC X-Men and Avengers Variants of Avengers Vs X-Men #12 by Ryan Stegman and Billy Tan for $10 each

A $20 I Survived The Battle Of New York T-Shirt by Joey Spiotto based on the aftermath of the Avengers movie, and another based on a fictional sixties Avengers album cover art by Matt Ferguson.

And a $12 Rocket Raccoon mug with Joe Quesada art.

Watch DC's envious eyes…
