Speculator Corner: Swamp Thing #1

Next week today, Bleeding Cool believe that DC Comics will announce a new ongoing Superman comic book, entitled Man Of Steel, written by Scott Snyder and drawn by Jim Lee.

Which will, no doubt, be the best selling comic book in the month it is released. Possibly a few after that as well.

Scott Snyder is a relative newcomer to comics, but has become red hot of late jumping from one sucessful project to another. But he hasn’t written Superman before.

Well, not much anyway. Because, of course, Superman has appeared in certain issues of his comics.

Specifically we’re talking Swamp Thing. Issue one.

Could this, already a $7 book, be heading for speculator glory in the near future?

UPDATE: It’s true, I’d forgotten about Flashpoint: Project Superman mini series by Snyder in the months that preceded the New 52 (along with everyone else).. That’s in the twenty cent bins right now…
