Parker Trailer With Jason Statham, J-Lo, Clown With Shotgun Popping Out Of Trapdoor

This trailer just scared the living hell out of me by having a clown pop up out of the floor. The shotgun was just gravy.

So I won’t be watching it again. I’ll have to be very careful how and where I watch the film too. We don’t want a repeat of what happened with Zombieland.

Those “margins” are horribly off putting. Reminds me of something Hype Williams couldn’t stop doing in music videos about ten years back, not to mention how cluttered the screen gets during American TV shows these days.

Parker is probably the most famous creation of crime writer Donald Westlake. The character was the protagonist of twenty four novels, including The Hunter, which was adapted as both Point Blank and Payback.

So that lands Statham somewhere in the same circle as Lee Marvin and Mel Gibson.

The book being adapted here seems to be Flashfire. I haven’t read it. And I probably won’t, now I know I think it has clowns in it.

Of all of Statham’s upcoming pictures, this seems to be the least interesting. Roll on his Steve Knight and Brian De Palma collaborations, I say. He needs something a bit more interesting to do.
