First Footage From Stoker, Chan-Wook Park's Creepy American Movie

The script for Stoker was written by Prison Break star Wentworth Miller under a pseudonym, made the Black List, was passed around hot-shot directors and ended up getting filmed by Chan-Wook Park, director of Oldboy and Sympathy For Mr. Vengeance. That’s a pretty exciting journey for a screenplay to go on.

This first footage from the film played on Entertainment Tonight… er… last night, and was slashed from the show by The Film Stage. As you’ll see, it plays like a piece of a trailer, and that’s just what it is.

I think Matthew Goode is extraordinary, and Mia Wasikowska is always welcome too. Kidman? Well, I liked her in Dogville and Rabbit Hole.

The full trailer will be along next week. I wonder if it will contain any clues as to why Miller called his family, and film, by the same name as the writer of Dracula…
