First Trailer For Gambit, Written By The Coens, Starring Colin Firth And Cameron Diaz

This remake of Gambit, written by Joel and Ethan Coen from an already cracking original film, scripted by Jack Davies and Alvin Sargent, has been a long time coming.

We had a few seconds of footage in a British cinema promo reel, playing in our cinemas for months. Then, yestedrday morning, the trailer premiered on… Lorraine? Yeah, I’m a little surprised by that too.

Well, I say trailer. It’s still not all of it. I expect the full-full thing will be along soon and it won’t be so scruffy then.

Thanks to Niall at Scannain for the embed.

And, yes, I know that I’ve written an entire post on the film and not even mentioned its director, Michael Hoffman. Better put that right, I suppose.

Michael Hoffman.
