ComiXology Around The World – Archie Is Big In India

Time for another look at how people around the world buy digital comics in-app through Apple devices.

Imagine if we could get the world to agree on something this easily outside of comics? Avengers Vs. X-men #11 takes the top spot in Great Britain, U.S., France, Mexico, Canada, Israel, Italy and Germany proving that the death of a bald educator is enough to bring people together. Despite Marvel's big time hold over the top, DC is doing fine with Batman #0 coming in second in Great Britain, U.S., France, Mexico, Brazil and Canada, while coming in first in Ireland and Australia. The United States shows why only two political parties are allowed to run for President with an even split for Marvel and DC, thankfully Great Britain puts an Image book on the charts with Manhattan Projects #6as does Italy and Germany.

The Walking Dead does fine with back issues and trades in China, Russia and Germany, Greece loves Saga and Fatale but not as much as they love Legends of the Dark Knight, Before Watchmen: Comedian #3 does a decent showing in France, Great Britain, Mexico, and Germany but does really well in Italy. X-O Manowar is big in Italy, Transformers are big in Japan (as well as Hitman apparently) and Grimm Fairy Tales is still doing great in Russia.
