The Hunt For Osama Bin Laden: First Trailer For Kathryn Bigelow’s Zero Dark Thirty

Sony have revealed the first footage from Kathryn Bigelow‘s action-thriller Zero Dark Thirty, a retelling of the US military’s hunt for Osama Bin Laden. It was written by Bigelow’s Hurt Locker collaborator, Mark Boal.

The cast for this thing is incredibly strong, in that Hollywood way: Joel Edgerton, Mark Strong, Jessica Chastain, Edgar Ramirez, Jennifer Ehle, Kyle Chandler. All well-liked character actors.

Chris Pratt has a key role too, and it may be a break-out for him in the way The Hurt Locker was for Jeremy Renner.

But, for me, the star is Bigelow. I’m very interested to see how she handles this.
