Mike Deodato, Jr. is launching a Kickstarter campaign this week to publish a collection of new cartoon illustrations.

Most knwo Mike for his Liefeld/Lee-esque work from the nineties and is more recent photoreferenced work, but this collection will show a very different side to the artist.

The Cartoon Art Of Mike Deodato Jr will contain work inspired by his life and his family, and will be the first personal work he's ever released, both single panels and sequential strips.

And while he may only work digitally now, the Kickstarter rewards for donors will include original full sized commissions, something he has stopped doing outside of conventions.
