Now Is The Time To Buy The Star Trek Original Motion Picture Collection

There was no showing of anything Star Trek at Comic-Con this year, but the new film has very much been in the air, and up for discussion. And there was that Karl Urban video.

Perfect time, then, to pick up the Original Motion Picture Collection on Blu-ray, and that’s before we get to the price tag: $39.99, down from $99.99.

The set contains all of the films featuring the original crew alone. So that is:

Star Trek: The Motion Picture
Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan
Star Trek 3: The Search for Spock
Star Trek 4 The Voyage Home
Star Trek 5: The Final Frontier
Star Trek 6: The Undiscovered Country

Six films, which means three even numbered films. And lots of supplements. I don’t think there’s any rule about the supplements for odd numbered films, is there?

All discs are region free, so… well, don’t mind if I do.

And I like the packaging a lot. Check this out:
