Joss Whedon Joining Ranks Of Whedonverse Cameos On Jane Espenson’s Husbands

Abigail Raney writes for Bleeding Cool.

In a bit of casting news that should excite fans of both Jane Espenson’s internet series Husbands and of the geek god himself, Joss Whedon, Espenson announced at her Comic-Con panel today that Whedon would have a guest starring role on Husbands‘ new season, starting on August 15th.

They’re calling it his acting debut, which I guess means they didn’t catch his cameo on Veronica Mars or this video.

This adds Whedon to a list of guest stars that including Amber Benson, Tricia Helfer, Dichen Lachman, Clare Grant, and Felicia Day . Clearly Espenson is making good use of her Whedonverse contacts, and you won’t catch me complaining.
