Teaser Trailer For Turtle Power, The Mutant Ninja Documentary

Self financed fan documentaries have grown in both number and stature over the last few years, and the Kickstarter era is only going to throw fuel on the fire. However, some are quite decent indeed, and I would tend to be much more optimistic about anything made out of passion rather than inspired by the basic need to create a LOOK! SPECIAL EDITION! tag on a DVD or Blu-ray case.

And so I’m looking forward to Turtle Power, a film that looks at the origins and various different incarnations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

As the film seems to be production now, there are two key points to note.

One: they still need support and donations. And two: they can hopefully react to everything Turtle-y going on right now – good, bad and alien in origin.

Thanks to JoBlo for the embed.

Here’s hoping Nickelodeon or Paramount get behind the film and lend some elbow.
