At Bleeding Cool, we rather like the Kieron Gillen run on Journey Into Mystery. Going as far as to say it’s one of the best ongoing MarvelU or DCU books on the stands. But dagnabbit, if one of the things we like most isn’t the “last week on Buffy The Vampire Slayer” introductions to each issue. Most of these Marvel recap style things are rather bland. Journey Into Mystery makes them integral to the development of character, tone, or even an excuse to entertain or just make a bad joke. Here then, are the introductions to issues 622 to 640. They start out dull, take a while to find their feet then… boom. Enjoy!
