More Wreck-It Ralph Images, Real Life Arcade Machine Tie-In Revealed

Wreck-It Ralph is going to do for video games what Toy Story did for toys. That’s what everybody‘s saying. Including me. Over and over again.

Earlier, we had a great, very high-quality and detailed image stuffed to the gills with video game in-jokes. Now, three more pictures that USA Today have used to explain a little more of what the film’s actually about and who the characters are.

This is Jane Lynch’s character, Sgt. Calhoun from the game Hero’s Duty. Rich Moore says:

Calhoun has one of the most tragic back stories ever. Her fiancé was eaten at the altar on their wedding day after she forgot to do a perimeter check.

Sarah Silverman provides the voice of Vanellope von Schweetz of the Mario Kart-gone candy game, Sugar Rush. Moore says:

Sarah does the voice of a little kid as only Sarah could do.

I bet.

And here is the outside of Game Central Station – it’s a power strip. It’s the inside of this we were looking at earlier.

The film looks good enough to play, and it sounds like we’ll get a chance. Moore says:

On top of a Wreck-It Ralph game, there will be an arcade version of Fix-It Felix, Jr. that will pop up around the country, including your favorite pizza parlor.

The cabinet was seen at D23 last year, and some video of the game in action ended up online. Check it out.

The trailer for Wreck-It Ralph will hit the web tomorrow and be in cinemas by the weekend. You know where you’ll be able to find it.
