Mickey Mouse Supports Gay Marriage At Disney Tokyo

Marvel Comics may be about to make news for their first gay marriage in a comic book, between Northstar and his partner Kyle. But their parent company has beaten them to it.

Tokyo Disney Resort has confirmed that same sex couples can have their own fairytale wedding at hotels in the resort, after enquiries were made by one Koyuki Higashi. Initially she were told that a gay couple would still have to dress as a man and a woman, basically enforcing crossdressing for any gay couple who wished to marry in this fashion, but the Resort then backtracked on that, saying this was not an issue. She then got a photo with her partner and Mickey Mouse, approving of the news.

So you can both dress as Donald Duck if you want, and no one has to dress as Daisy…
