Do You Have A Comic With Thanos In It? Might Be Worth Fishing It Out…

Do You Have A Comic With Thanos In It? Might Be Worth Fishing It Out…Comic book stores have told me in the last month, they have seen a much greater interest in the appearances of Thanos in Marvel comics. And certain people happily picking up multiple copiesat full guide price. They knew what was coming…

A copy of his first appearance, Iron Man #55, with a CGC of 6.0 sold in March for $70, but one in the same condition sold on May 7th for $400.

Also in early March, a 9.6 CGC copy sold for $925.  By the end of April, it was up to $1424. The word was out. Thanos' appearance in the Avengers movie was causing a run on the character.

Back in March, his second appearance in Captain Marvel #25 was a $10 book, if that. By May it was close to $40.

In February Captain Marvel #33 CGC 9.4 sold for $60. In May it was $100.

And in February, a set of Infinity Gauntlet was selling for $10. Now? Closer to $50.

What I'm saying is that if you do have any comics featuring Thanos (apart from that one that shipped this week), then selling them around about now might be an idea.
