Michel Vaillant To Return With A New Pit Crew

The classic racing comic book Michel Vaillant is coming back with a new team. The original creator of the strip, Jean Graton has retired – well, he is in his late eighties.

His son, Philippe Graton, who had already written for the comic, is now its head writer, with Denis Lapière as co-writer and top flight artists Marc Bourgne and Benjamin Benéteau drawing the book. Here’s a look at their upcoming work.

It will relaunch as Michel Valliant: Season 2. Season 1 ran for 70 books, from 1957 till 2007, so that’s quite a legacy to live up to…
